Company News

We’re delighted to announce that JM Partnership (Surveyors) Ltd, a respected Registered Building Control Approver based in the South East, has officially joined enevo.

This marks an exciting step forward in our goal to build one of the UK’s most trusted, independent consultancies for the built environment – bringing together two teams that share the same commitment to quality, integrity, and client-focused service.

Building stronger national coverage

JM Partnership has built an outstanding reputation over almost three decades for its independence, technical expertise, and personal approach. With offices in Kent, Sussex, and Derbyshire, the business adds valuable reach and experience across the South East, Midlands, and London, complementing enevo’s existing offices in Leeds, Manchester, Darlington, and London.

Together, we now offer a truly national Building Control service, with greater capacity, shared expertise, and a stronger network of qualified professionals supporting safe, compliant projects from concept to completion.

Shared values and a shared vision

Both teams have grown around the same principles – technical excellence, collaboration, and a personal approach to client relationships. Those values will remain at the heart of how we operate moving forward.

As Mark Heptonstall, CEO and Founder of enevo, explains:

JM Partnership has been a respected and trusted name in Building Control for almost three decades. By bringing our teams together, we’re creating a stronger, more resilient business with the scale and expertise to better support clients nationwide, while staying true to our independence and technical focus.

Oliver Bentley, Managing Director at enevo, adds:

Our vision is to become one of the UK’s largest privately owned built environment TICC companies by 2027. This move takes us a step closer to that goal, strengthening our Building Control division, broadening our national reach, and creating more opportunities for staff and clients alike.

Continuity for clients and teams

For clients, it’s business as usual. The same teams and contacts will continue to deliver projects with the same attention to detail and quality that both firms are known for. The integration process will focus on listening, learning, and supporting teams to ensure continuity and confidence across every project.

We’re also pleased to confirm that Stuart Martin, formerly Associate Director at JM Partnership, will continue to lead the business as Divisional Director for the South, working closely with enevo’s leadership team.

Looking ahead

The addition of JM Partnership strengthens our ability to provide consistent, high-quality Building Control services across England and Wales, supported by a wider network of expertise in Building Safety and Building Compliance.

It’s another exciting milestone in enevo’s ongoing growth journey, following our recent investment partnership with Santander UK and recognition in The Times Best Places to Work 2025.

We’re thrilled to welcome our new colleagues from JM Partnership to the enevo family, and we look forward to what we can achieve together for our clients, our teams, and the wider industry.
