Building Safety

As the Building Safety Act continues to reshape responsibilities across the construction and development landscape, enevo has reinforced its Building Safety division with two strategic appointments: Benjamin Wiles and Martin Bradley. Their arrival strengthens enevo’s delivery capacity even further, expands technical expertise, and reflects the company’s growing role as a trusted compliance partner to developers, dutyholders, and design teams navigating increasingly complex regulatory obligations.

enevo’s Building Safety division is led by Jason Foster, a hugely experienced and respected figure in UK Building Control and Building Safety. With over 35 years of regulatory and site-based experience, Jason provides strategic direction, high-risk project insight, and expert leadership in what is now one of the most scrutinised areas of the built environment.

“We’re actively building a team that reflects the scale of change happening across the industry,” Jason says. “Clients across the UK require more than administrative compliance; they need practical, expert guidance from knowledgeable and experienced professionals who thoroughly understand every aspect of the regulatory system. Our team have those skills and can provide clear, informed support across Gateway approvals, BRPD duties, Golden Thread compliance, and CDM requirements.”

Benjamin Wiles

Benjamin Wiles joins enevo as Building Safety Consultant from Kier Design, bringing with him extensive experience as a Chartered Architect and specialist in building safety compliance. His strong technical expertise significantly enhances enevo’s capacity to support clients in navigating fire safety, accessibility, and energy efficiency regulations across complex residential and commercial projects.

Martin Bradley

Martin Bradley has been appointed Senior Associate within the Building Safety division, a role reflecting his considerable experience and expertise. Martin is a seasoned CDM Principal Designer (PD) as well as a Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD), with first-hand experience in managing Gateway 1–3 submissions and a deep understanding of dutyholder obligations under the Building Safety Act. Martin has also assisted clients in attaining BIM ISO 19650 accreditation, further strengthening enevo’s digital compliance and documentation capabilities. His expertise will be particularly valuable to clients delivering Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs) requiring structured regulatory engagement and rigorous compliance assurance.

These new appointments join a growing, experienced team of Building Safety consultants at enevo, delivering comprehensive services including Gateway process management, BRPD coordination, document control and risk management, digital compliance tracking, and dutyholder advisory. Collectively, the division provides structured support that spans from initial strategic guidance through regulatory submissions to post-completion reviews.

“I’m really thrilled that we’re building a proactive, client-focused team with even greater capacity to meet our clients’ needs,” Jason adds. “Our clients depend on us for clear answers, early risk identification, reduced submission rejection risk, and confidence in their projects. With Ben and Martin onboard, our expanded team now offers greater depth, capability, and credibility to deliver at scale across the UK.”
